what we believe

Bible: The sacred Bible, which consists of 66 books, is made up of the Old and New Testaments. It is inspired by God, infallible, and the final authoritative word for mankind. (Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:16, Matthew 24:35)

One God: We believe in one eternal God, The Creator of all things. He exists in three distinctive eternal persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit  He is absolutely loving and completely holy. (Matthew 3:16–17, John 1:1, John 1:14, Colossians 2:9,  Genesis 1:2–3,  Matthew 28:19).

God The Father:  We believe God the Father created all things for His glory according to His own will through His Son, Jesus Christ. He upholds all things by the Word of His power and grace, exercising sovereign headship over all creation, providence, and redemption  (Colossians 1:17, Hebrews 1:3, Revelation 4:11)

God The Son: We believe that Jesus is an image of the invisible God who became a man at a point in time in history and dwells among us. He did so without giving up His oneness with God. Christ had no natural father but was supernaturally conceived in the womb of the virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit, We believe that Jesus Christ, the eternal Son, moved by love in accordance with the will of the Father, lived a sinless life and sacrificially shed His blood and died on the cross in our place accomplishing redemption for all who place their faith in Him. He arose visibly and bodily from the dead three days later and ascended into heaven, where, at the Father’s right hand, He is now Head of His Body the Church, the only Saviour and Mediator between God and man, and will return to earth in power and glory to consummate His redemptive mission. (Luke 1:35, Isaiah 7:14 Colossians 1:15, Matthew 1:22-23,John 6:38,John 1:1, John 1:14, John 1:18, John 14:8-9, 1 Timothy 2:5-6, Revelation 19:11-16, Hebrews 1:3)

God The Holy Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit, in all that He does, glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ during this age. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He draws the unredeemed to repentance and faith, and at salvation He imparts new spiritual life to the believer, bringing that person into union with Christ and the Body of Christ. The Holy Spirit sanctifies, seals, fills, guides, instructs, comforts, equips, empowers, permanently indwells at salvation, and bestows spiritual giÅ¿ts to the believer for Christ-like living and service. (John 16:8; John16:13 John16:15; Titus 3:5;  Ephesians 4:11-12; Romans 8:9-17; Romans 12:4-8;1 Corinthians 3:16; 1 Corinthians 12:4-5, 1 Corinthians 2:9-12; Galatians 5:25; Hebrews 2:1-4; 2 Corinthians 12:12)

Mankind & Sin: We believe that God created man and woman in His own image and likeness, sinless, to glorify Himself and enjoy His companionship. But the disobedience of Adam therefore every one of us was affected by Adam’s sin; there are no exceptions. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God which has separated us from our creator, The Bible is clear that there are two destinations for every human soul following physical death: in the presence of God or everlasting punishment( Heaven and Hell)  (Romans 3:23 Romans 5:12 Genesis 3)

Mankind & Salvation: Although God banished Adam and Eve from the Garden and the Tree of Life, He gave them hope of salvation and paradise. He promised to send the woman’s offspring Jesus Who would conquer Satan Until then, men would sacrifice innocent lambs as a substitute for the punishment they deserved. Sacrificing an animal showed men’s humble acknowledgement that their sin required death and showed their faith in the future offspring and sacrifice from God giving His Only Begotten Son Jesus Who would bear the believer’s penalty once and for all.

The life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Christ provide the way of salvation for those who, by God’s grace, repent from their sin and confess faith in Jesus Christ as Lord

This free gift of grace by faith not only saves us from eternal condemnation in hell but also gives us new birth The new birth is a spiritual, holy, and heavenly birth that results in our being made alive spiritually. Man in his natural state is “dead in trespasses and sins” until he is “made alive” (regenerated) by Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17, John 3:3, John 3:7, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9, John 5:24, John 3:16John 3:1-21, Leviticus 4:35, Leviticus 5:10, Hebrews 9:22,      John1:292 Corinthians 5:21)

The Church: We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which He is the head and is made of people from all walks of life who have repented of their sins and have given their lives to Jesus. The body of Christ is made up of all believers in Jesus Christ from the day of Pentecost. The word “church” is a translation of the Greek word ekklesia, which is defined as “an assembly” or “called-out ones.” The Scriptures command believers to gather locally to devote themselves to worship, prayer, word teaching, fellowship, the ordinances of baptism and communion, service to the local body through the development and use of talents and spiritual gifts, and global outreach to make disciples. (Ephesians 1:22–23, Acts 2, 1 Corinthians 12:13.  John 3:16)

Baptism: We believe that Christian baptism is a public declaration of the believer’s salvation in Christ, identifying with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection symbolized by immersion in water. Jesus on earth set the example Himself even though He is sinless. (Matthew 28:19 Luke 3:21-22, Mark 16:16 Acts 2:38, Acts 2:41; Romans 6:3-6)

Communion: The Lord’s Supper is the united commemoration by believers of Christ’s death until He comes and should be preceded by a careful self-examination.(1 Corinthians11:20-29,Matthew 26:26-30,Luke 22:19-21)

The Return of Jesus' Final Judgment and the Millennium Reign:

Rapture:  We believe The caught of the church in the clouds is the event in which God “snatches away” all believers from the earth in order to make way for His righteous judgment to be poured out God will resurrect all believers who have died, give them glorified bodies, and take them from the earth, along with all living believers, who will also be given glorified bodies at that time. (1 Thessalonians 4:17,1 Corinthians 15:50–54, Revelation 3:10)

The Second Coming of Jesus: In and eagerly await the Lord Jesus Christ's approaching, glorious, visible, and personal return.Matthew 24:42-44,1 Thessalonians 4:16-172 Peter 3:10, Matthew 16:27, Revelation 22:12Revelation 19:11-16, Zechariah 14:4, Matthew 24:30, Titus 2:13)

Millennium Reign: After the Second Coming of Jesus, we believe the millennium to be a perfect environment, both physically and spiritually. It will be a time of peace, joy, and comfort. The Bible also tells us that only believers will enter the millennial kingdom. Because of this, it will be a time of obedience, holiness, truth, and the knowledge of God. Christ will forever rule as king. (Micah 4:2–4; Isaiah 32:17–18, Isaiah 61:10)

At the End of The Millennium, Satan will be released, defeated again, and then cast into the lake of fire for eternity. Christ then judges all unbelievers at the great white throne judgment, casting them all into the lake of fire. Christ will then usher in a new heaven, a new earth, and the New Jerusalem—the eternal dwelling place of believers. There will be no more sin, sorrow, or death (Revelation 21–22Revelation 20:7-10 Revelation 20:10-15)
